Operator Agreement
This Operator Agreement governs your relationship with Shuttlebee as an independent transportation operator on our platform.
1. Independent Contractor Status
You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Shuttlebee. You are responsible for all taxes, insurance, and expenses associated with your business. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, partnership, or joint venture relationship.
2. Insurance Requirements
You must maintain commercial auto insurance at coverage levels required by Pennsylvania (or applicable state) law and as specified by Shuttlebee. Proof of insurance must be kept current in your operator profile.
3. Licensing and Compliance
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required federal, state, and local licenses and permits to operate as a transportation provider, including any PUC, DOT, or other regulatory requirements applicable to your service area.
4. Background Checks
You consent to background checks as part of the onboarding process and as required thereafter. Background checks are conducted in compliance with the FCRA. You have the right to dispute inaccurate information.
5. Code of Conduct
You agree to treat all clients and passengers with professionalism and respect, maintain vehicles in safe and clean condition, follow all traffic laws, and uphold the Shuttlebee standard of service.
6. Platform Fees
Shuttlebee charges a platform fee as specified in your onboarding materials. Fee structures may be updated with reasonable notice.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with reasonable notice. Shuttlebee may immediately suspend access for safety violations or material breaches of this agreement.
