2.Self-Assessment

3.Background Clearances
1–3 weeksSubmit required state and federal background clearances. The specific clearances depend on your operating state.
Pennsylvania: Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 33 / Act 151)
Required for all PA operators transporting children
Pennsylvania requires all operators who transport children to obtain a Child Abuse History Clearance through the ChildLine & Abuse Registry. This clearance is governed by Act 33 and updated under Act 151 of 2014.

4.Driver App & Dash Cam Setup
~30 minSet up the DriverCloud dash cam app so every trip is recorded and trip-safe. You can do this early — in parallel with your background clearances.

- →Download the Driver dash cam app from the App Store
- →Mount your phone and confirm the dash cam is reporting
- →Review safety and dispatch protocols
5.Business Setup
1–2 daysFinalize the operational requirements to start accepting trips.
- →Commercial auto insurance verification (minimum liability coverage — varies by state)
- →Vehicle inspection certification
- →Payment account setup (direct deposit)
- →Business license or LLC documentation (if applicable)
